Date: June 15, 2026

Time: 12:00pm CST / 1:00pm EST

Description:

Doulas and birth workers frequently find themselves holding space for vulnerable, emotionally charged moments where hard conversations can arise. This session focuses on how to remain present and grounded while navigating discussions related to fear, unmet expectations, and shifting birth experiences. Using an attachment-informed lens, participants will explore how to respond with empathy while maintaining clear roles and boundaries. The session will offer practical tools for regulating your own nervous system and supporting families in a way that honors both connection and emotional safety.

This virtual community is open to and free for doulas in Tennessee!

Pre-registration required.

Presentation is followed by collaborative opportunities to discuss best practices and strategies regarding maternal and infant mental health, share feedback, and offer support.

The ECHO platform is centered around sharing knowledge so ALL are welcome whether you're new in the field or have 20+ years of experience!
