TN IECMH ECHO EBHV Session - Rapport Matters: Part One—Building the Foundation for Family Engagement

Date: August 3, 2026

Time: 10am CST / 11m EST

Description:

Building strong relationships with families is the foundation of successful treatment. In part one of this series, participants will explore practical strategies for establishing rapport from the very first interaction, creating a positive and professional first impression, and fostering trusting, collaborative relationships throughout the early stages of the therapeutic process. Participants will also examine common barriers that affect initial engagement and learn effective approaches for overcoming these challenges. Through collaboration, real-world approaches, and intentionality, this training will equip participants with tools and confidence to build meaningful connections with families and enhance the quality of in-home services.

Whether you’re new to home visiting or bring years of experience, you’ll leave with fresh insights, space to reflect, and practical strategies to help every participant feel seen, supported, and genuinely welcomed.

This virtual community is open to ALL home visitors in Tennessee!
