Darkness to Light is a comprehensive program designed to equip adults with the skills to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The training is based on The 5 Steps to Protecting Children and focuses on practical actions to reduce instances of child sexual abuse in organizations, families, and communities.

Presley Hosford is the Community Education Coordinator at the Rutherford County Child Advocacy Center, where she educates adults on how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse in our communities. A passionate advocate for child and family well-being, Presley is a Certified Family Life Educator and holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Her dedication to this mission was recently recognized with the Hometown Hero Award in 2025—a testament to her impactful work and commitment to service. Driven by compassion and a deep commitment to education, Presley continues to be a force for positive change in the lives of children and families.
