Doulas Child Welfare Other Sectors Coming Soon

  • This certificate program is available at no-cost to TN Child Welfare Professionals and Doulas. This professional development support is made possible by generous support from Amerigroup and TN Department of Children’s Services.

  • The certificate program will run for six months. The first cohort will run from April through September 2024.

Each month will include 2-3 hours of participation. Approximately two hours will take place via an online learning platform and can be completed at the participant's convenience.

One hour per month will include a live Reflective Practice space with various meeting times available.

  • Much of the certificate program can be completed as the learner's schedule allows. The reflective practice spaces will promote a time for learners to come together, consider the information in the learning block by asking questions, thinking about how to apply the concepts to daily work, and build community with other professionals across the state. There will be six one-hour reflective practice spaces offered throughout the certificate program. Attendance at four of the six is required. Reflective Practice spaces will be offered via Zoom and there will be at least two options offered per month.
