TN IECMH ECHO EBHV Training: Navigating the Journey: Preparing Families for a Successful Exit

Date: August 4th, 2025

Time: 10am CST/ 11am EST

Description: Ending services with a family is a significant part of the home visiting journey and how we say goodbye matters. Whether closure is planned or unexpected, it offers a powerful opportunity for reflection, celebration, and growth - for both families and home visitors. Join us as we explore how to approach endings with intention, in a way that honors the relationships built and supports smooth transitions. We look forward to hearing your experiences as we consider strategies for preparing families (and ourselves!), and consider how closure can reinforce the lasting impact of the work.

This virtual community is open to all home visitors in Tennessee!

The ECHO platform is centered around sharing knowledge, so ALL are welcome whether you're new in the field or have 20+ years of experience!

Presenter: Laura Shoaf, MSW, IMH-E®
