Strengthening the IECMH Workforce through Connection, Collaboration, and Community
Date: November 6th, 2025
Time: 10-12pm CST/ 11-1pm EST
Description: Many infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) organizations in Tennessee face challenges retaining professionals, often due to a lack of consistent, responsive connections and supportive relationships, which disrupts care for children and families. This session, informed by the voices of 128 Tennessee IECMH professionals, explores how organizational culture, psychological safety, and supportive leadership impact workforce retention. Participants will gain practical strategies to foster connection, collaboration, and community within their organizations, building environments where professionals feel valued and empowered, ultimately improving outcomes for infants, young children, and families.
