Foster / Kinship Parent
Reflective Space and
Support Group
Fourth Thursday of each
month: 2/26, 3/26, 4/23, 5/28, and 6/25
12pm -1pm CST
The goal of reflective spaces is for participants to feel seen, heard, and understood. These sessions offer a space to pause,
slow down, and process the complex emotions that come with parenting children who have experienced adversity in early
childhood. Reflection is a core component of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health principles. Those who engage in
reflection often report feeling more grounded, protected against burnout, and reconnected to the heart of their work.
Take a break from the weight of foster parenting, and join us in a supportive space just for you. This is a place to process it
all—the challenges, the victories, and everything in between.
Whether you need to talk about the hard moments, share stories of hope, or simply be heard,
you’re not alone here.
Bring your lunch, refill your coffee or tea, and give yourself the gift of reflection, connection, and
renewal.
Take a breath. Take a pause. These are your Midday Moments.
Because the work is hard, but you don’t have to carry it alone.
