Date: August 27th 2026

Time: 10 AM CST

Presenters: Sarah Manley Judkins, LMSW, ECMH-E® and Leah Tolbert, ABHS Therapist and Warmline Coordinator, LPC- MHSP(t)

Description:

The Fostering Early Relationships training is designed to support foster and adoptive parents, kinship caregivers, and safety placements in recognizing and responding to the unique needs of Tennessee's youngest children in the child welfare system.

Participants explore key topics such as the dynamics of rupture and repair in relationships, the role of brain development, and the impact of adverse
childhood experiences. The training emphasizes the importance of responsive caregiving in promoting children's well-being.

Each training concludes with a reflective session, where participants come
together to discuss the material, share insights from their foster parenting
journey, and explore practical strategies for supporting the children in their
care.

Come as you are and enjoy a space of reflection, connection, and support with other parents walking similar paths.
